What is actually in it?
Fifty 6" × 6" mylar bags at 4.3 mil, fifty matched 100cc oxygen absorbers, and one HM-150 hand-held heat sealer. Nothing else is needed to close a bag.
How is this different from buying the parts separately?
The parts are the same parts. What the set adds is that the absorber is already the right size for the bag and the sealer is already the right tool for the film, so no part of the decision is left to you.
How many absorbers per bag?
One. Absorber size follows the air volume left in the sealed container, not the weight of the food. Doubling absorbers does not change the result.
